There's a Baby On The Way

My other half's daughter is expecting a baby boy this summer. Her shower is in a couple of weeks, we sent a car seat from her baby registry but on Friday we saw this onesie at the Laughlin River Run and couldn't resist it.

I made a cute little card to go with this but I forgot to take a picture before I closed up the box.

Here is the box I made using my Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge.

After I cut the box, I used a stork stamp from my stash to create more of a gift look than a plain box. The tag is from Plantin Schoolbook.

Thank you for stopping by and taking a look.

Happy Birthday Renee

My girlfriend's birthday is coming up so I made her a couple of things.

The papers for the gift bag and rosette pin are from Craft Smith's Tea Party pad, the card is a decoupage set from Docrafts I won one of their facebook giveaways earlier in the summer.

The gift bag and it's tag are cuts from Cricut's Tags, Bags, Boxes & More2.

The rosette pin is a cut from Cricut's Ribbons and Rosettes, the Birthday Girl is a print and cut from Silhouette's online store. I kept trying to figure out the print and cut feature but gave up and just did a cut and assemble. A few hours after I finished this, I sat down and played around until I did figure it out. I added a couple of stick pins, stars, ribbon, twine and some gold keys that you can't see in this picture.

Renee loves cats so I thought this would be the perfect card for her. This is from Do Craft's Little Meow Collection.

I am entering this into these challenges:

Gift box with matching card

I love chickens so when I saw this printable I just had to have it, one of these days I would like to have a few chickens of my own. Link to printable

You get 7 images on the sheet, 3 of the larger image and 4 of the smaller one. I used two of the bigger images on the box and 1 of the smaller images on the card.

I made this cute gift box and matching card. The box is cut using my Cricut and Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 cartridge. The papers were printed with my Imagine. I used my Cuttlebug Alphabet Dies to cut the, "Hello Spring".

After cutting the box out I added the checkerboard paper then wrapped a black and white stripped ribbon then topped that ribbon with red ribbon. I added red and black twine at the top and tied it into a bow. I adhered the images using foam pads.

I used the same papers on the card but added a piece of read to break up the checkerboard paper. Wrapped the same ribbons around the checkerboard and lower part of the red layer, I used foam tape to adhere the layers to the card face with some extra foam tape under the shaker portion. I used clear beads and red sequins to the shaker element. And added a piece of red twine to the folded edge.
