I scraped this 6" x 6" page using pictures from our trip to Tahquamenon Falls in Paradise, MI. Paradise is in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, a very beautiful vacation spot. We rode up there on Labor Day weekend a few years ago. It was my first time there and I found it to be quite breathtaking. The water is brown due to the tannic acid in the pine needles that fall into the water. There are 2 waterfalls, the upper and lower, the upper falls are on the top of the layout, the bottom falls are underneath.
Recipe:
All papers are from DCWV: Burlap Paper Stack (6" x 6"), The flowers are all made using: Harvest Gathering Matstack ( 4.5" x 6.5"), the leaves are from some 12" x 12" DCWV solid papers and the Harvest Gathering stack. I trimmed the Harvest Gathering paper to round it out a bit before I attached it to the burlap.
I added button, stickles and pearls for the flower centers, a few sequins and a couple of semi precious stones, I used the Red Jasper on top of the 2 leaf cluster on the bottom of page.
All of the flowers and leaves were cut from Cricut's Mother's Day Bouquet @ 1.25", I shaped them with my McGill Paper Blossoms Craft Molding Mat and molding tools. I always cut and assemble well more flowers than I need for my projects that way if I'm in a hurry I hopefully have the correct size and color already assembled and ready to use. Ziploc bags are a staple in my craft room.
I did use 1 Melissa Frances wooden/flower button and I added floss to the buttons I used.
