Fabrika Fantasy - New Releases for June

Today is new release day over at Fabrika Fantasy. 

I have been rather busy recently so I only did 1 new release project this month. I love this image with the girl and dolphin, I decided to use it to scrap a page using a picture of my Granddaughter at Sea Camp in Key West, Florida.

Rachael told me just the other day how her trip to Sea Camp was the most wonderful trip ever. I am very happy that she had the chance to experience it.

The dolphins and title are from Cricut's, "Life is a Beach" cartridge.

 

Fabrika Fantasy Challenge #10 - For the Men/Boys

Today starts a new challenge over at Fabrika Fantasy. This month's theme is, "For the Men/Boys". I choose, "Tommy's Fantasy Pet" to work with.

 

After printing my image onto a piece of 4 x 6 white cardstock I used water color pencils to color it. Then I layered some scraps of blue and brown onto a white cardstock base and added a ribbon. I added some copper Stickles to his shirt and a few wooden buttons from my stash.

Fabrika Fantasy May New Releases

Today is new release day at Fabrika Fantasy. First I had, "Little Tiger" to work with.

After coloring this cutie  with watercolor pencils I added some jewels and layered the image onto a piece of Kraft paper I had embossed with a HoneyComb embossing folder then I added the twine at the top.

Then I got, "Small Child" to play with.

 

I used watercolor pencils to color him then inked the edges and layered the image onto a piece of a blue scrap I had on hand.

It was pretty fast to put together.

This would make a great Mother's Day gift for a new mother to add pics of her little one into and carry in her purse so she can brag about her little guy.

Fabrika Fantasy Challenge #9 Monochrome

Challenge #9 has started at Fabrika Fantasy. This month's theme Monochrome.

 



This month I choose the Wise Dragon digi to work with because I had a scrap of graduation paper to use up.

 

 

This dragon reads almost as much as my son did when he was young.

 

This is kind of a big card but any kind of graduation is a big event. The card measures 5.25" wide x 7" high.

 

After using colored pencils (black and 2 grays) I layered the image onto a piece of solid black (another scrap I had on hand), the graduation paper and then the card base. I used the wavy blade with my paper trimmer to cut everything with. I added a few black pearls.

Fabrika Fantasy New Release Day - April

Today is New Release Day for April over at Fabrika Fantasy.

I had 3 of the new images to play with, here is what I made.

 

First up is, "Little Tennis Player".

 

I used scraps for the whole card, did some dry embossing and added some texture paste to the corners. I added some green Stickles to my embossing paste before applying it to the card.

 

 

I was a little afraid of adding too much of the Stickles but when it dried I can see that I should have used more.

 

Next up is, "Spring Chick" who is jumping rope.

I used all scraps again for her, you would think my scrap pile would be getting smaller wouldn't you? It sure doesn't seem to be any smaller to me.

I put the chick on an Action Wobble so that she could jump rope while sitting on the card.

Next up is, "Young Marguerite". She is all ready for spring. Yes, I used more scraps for this card but the pile still doesn't seem to be any smaller.

Fabrika Fantasy Challenge #8 - Flowers Galore

Time for another monthly challenge at Fabrika Fantasy. This month's theme is Flowers Galore.

I choose the Spring Fairy digi to work with.

 

I used colored pencils to color my image. The card measures 4.25" wide x 5.5" high.

 

After coloring her I layered the card base with a scrap with blue flowers from my stash and added a couple of flowers from my stash for even more flowers.

New Release Day at Fabrika Fantasy!!

Today is new release day over at Fabrika Fantasy. We have 5 new designs debuting today, head on over and pick up your favorites now.

Every piece of paper that I used was a scrap from my ever growing pile.

 

The bird and sentiment are from Plum Purdy . I used color pencils to color my image and I added some Glazed Creations to the magic wand dust, jewels to the flowers on her hat and a pearl on the cat's collar.

Fabrika Fantasy Challenge #7 - For the Grils

I am so excited, today is my first post for a new design team, I am now on the Fabrika Fantasy Challenge Design Team. Please come and join in the fun. This month's theme is, "For the Girls".

 I used Fairy Tale Princess to work with.

 

 

My card base measures 5.5 inches wide x 6.25 inches tall. The image and it's 2 additional layers were cut from scraps, I used a border punch to add the border on the bottom.

 

I used colored pencils to color my image and I stamped the sentiment directly onto the image after coloring and cutting it out. I added a jewel to her crown and Stickles on her dress.
