Christmas Cards using Victorian Santa Postcards Hang Tags

This is my second post today, for my HIMCR #175 project please click here: HIMCR #175

I made some Christmas Cards using the Victorian Santa Postcards Hang Tags file. You get 8 hang tags, four different tags, two of each.

I printed on cream colored paper, took a scrap of green paper and ran it though my eBosser with my Delicate Dots folder then cut the green paper into 1" strips and added a piece of green and white checked ribbon to the top and adhered this strip onto the card face.

After cutting my images out, I added a matching piece of clear acetate to the front of the images. I adhered the images to the card face using foam dots, added a piece of green and white twine to the fold edge and on 2 cards I added Jewels, putting pearls on the other 2 cards on the open edge.

The diagonal stripped cards measure 4 1/2" tall x 7" wide when folded. The horizontal striped cards measure 4 1/2" tall x 6" wide when folded.

HIMCR # 173 -Super Scraps Saturday

I think that Super Scraps Saturday is my favorite challenge. I have SO MANY scraps that they will soon run me out of the house.

The sponsor is Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!

The giveaway is 3 digital images from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! Winner's Choice!

Love this image from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, I think this guy is super cute.

Recipe:
Image from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps
Scraps, white, sliver and I think the blue was printed with my Imagine.
Imaginisce jewels and jewel setter
Colored pencils
Chunky glitter
Sentiment is from My Mine's Eye 12 days of Christmas collection
Adhesives, foam pads
Corner rounder

Print and color image, round corners and adhere to silver layer (I wish I had cut the silver a bit bigger and embossed it). Adhere to card face, card measures 6" wide by 5 1/2" tall when folded (fold is on top).
Add jewels where you want them, I put them on the scarf and the corners of my layers. Add the glitter to bottom.
I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of acetate then put the white paper behind it, I wanted a bit of shine on it that's why I used the acetate and I had a scrap to use up. Attach sentiment with foam pads.
