HIMCR Blogiversary #1 - Super Scraps Saturday!
A month wouldn't be complete without a Super Scraps challenge!
Recipe:
Rose hat digi from Sami Stamps
Cardstock
Zva Creations Bling
Twine
Colored pencils
Tea pot and cup stamps (from my stash, brand is unknown)
Embossing powder, Versa Mark pad, heat gun
Vellum
Adhesives
Stickles
Print and color digi the fussy cut it out.
Cut cardstock to measure 5.5" wide x 5.25" high.
Cut printed cardstock to measure 4.75" wide x 4.75" high and adhere to card front.
Add Zva Creations bling, adhere hat with foam pads. Print sentiment onto velum, I used my Xyron 3" sticker maker, putting the yellow cardstock through the it then adhering sentiment on top. I added the flowers from my stash and yellow Stickles for flower centers and adhered to card with foam pads.
Print inside onto vellum, cutting vellum 1/2" wider than 1 side of cardstock, score so that it will fold with the card. Since my vellum adhesive doesn't work as well as it should, I added the ribbon strip on the inside to hide the tacky tape.
Add a piece of twine around card fold.
For the menu I stamped a scrap of pink card using the Versa Mark pad then sprinkled with navy blue embossing powder and set with heat gun.
Cut patterened paper to measure 4.25" wide x 6.5" tall and score at 3.25". I printed the menu onto vellum, cut to fit inside the patterned paper and tied twine around the fold to hold the vellum in and added the tea cup after fussy cutting out.
Fussy cut the tea pot and adhere to front with foam pads, add a piece of Zva Creations bling.

Thank you, Melissa. I'm a tea drinker too and used to enjoy an occasional afternoon tea at some of Michigan's finest tea rooms, sadly I can't even get decent tea here in Arizona.
DeleteThese are BEAUTIFUL. What a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
