This week's Lawn Fawn/Add a Little Dazzle Blog Hop this week I pulled out my metal sheets and got to work.
I also got out my Cuttlebug dies and embossing folders to cut and emboss the flowers.
I also got out my Cuttlebug dies and embossing folders to cut and emboss the flowers.
Recipe:
Cardstock, white and printed
Metal sheets
Cricut Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge
Twine
Zva bling
Embossing powder
Ribbon, stickles, pom poms
Adhesives, foam pads
Stickles
I and embossed the flowers then layered them and added a center of Stickles.
Emboss your sentiment.
Cut Dutch fold card:
Cut white cardstock to measure 10" long x 4" wide. Cut a second piece of white cardstock to measure 8" wide x 3 3/8 " long.
Score 10" X 4" piece at 4" and fold.
Score 8" x 3 3/8" piece at 2" and 6",fold, Adhere card pieces together matching bottoms.
Cut printed cardstock to fit the front flaps you created.
Cut front panel so that it fits (mine is a little too long) front with a bit of overhang. Decorate this panel with flower cuts, I added twine stems and cut some leaves from my Cricut Mother's Day Bouquet cartridge. Adhere flowers with foam dots, place pom poms along bottom of stems then add a piece of ribbon with foam dots.
Decorate bottom flaps as you like, I put my sentiment and some Zva bling on mine. Add a piece of twine on the top fold.
As you can see by the second picture, the card will stand up on it's own. You want the decorated panel to be heavy enough to help the card stay closed.
I am entering this into these challanges:
