Tea For Two - 2 Creative Chicks

WOW!!! Where has the time gone? I can't believe that this is my last post for 2 Creative Chicks. It has been a lot of fun and the time has just flown by.

We are having a tea party today using a tea set that my son and his wife gave me when they came to the US to be married, 2 months later they were also married in Miki's hometown in Japan.

 

I started with a tray I picked up from Create and Craft TV, it was only a couple of dollars. I put a couple of coats of paint on the tray, used Mod Podge to adhere the paper with a couple more coats on top of the paper to protect it then I added the pearls.

 

 The paper is also from the kids, Japanese papers are beautiful.
