We moved to northwest Arizona in July of 2012. That winter we had a light dusting of snow one day, last winter we had NO snow then on New Year's Eve Day we woke up to this mess:

It snowed ALL day New Year's Eve Day, all of the pictures under this one were taken on New Year's Day. You can't even seen the mountains in the previous pictures because of the clouds.

This is a cactus that I planted over the summer.
We had 6" of the wet, white mess fall from the sky. We moved here to get away from this kind of weather. The snow is almost all gone now and we should be almost 70 degrees on Wednesday when this posts.

Oh my goodness! That is too much snow, considering it hasn't snowed like that where you live. WOW! Stay warm dear friend!!!
