Things With Wings

Here is my entry for the Polkadoodles Things With Wings Challange.

 

 

Recipe: 

Cardstock

Sizzix Stamp & Die Cut set by Hero Arts:  #657776

Plum Purdy Stamps: #102, Bee Hive & Bees and #106, What’s Buzzin’ Words Vine Plum Purdy Website

Versa Mark Ink

Souffle 3-D Opaque Ink, white

American Arts Punch Out punches (I used the dotted one)

Embossing powder, black, green and pink (I used Zing pink on the large flower)

Micro beads (I used orange for flower center)

Small cloth flowers

Jewel flowers

Ribbon

Floss

Adhesive

Heat Gun 

Cut yellow card 5” high x 4” wide, use punch on edges,

Stamp flower directly on card, sprinkle with embossing powder and apply heat with heat gun. Stamp flower again onto a scrap of yellow card and small flower on scrap of yellow, emboss both using heat gun. Stack flowers and add micro beads for flower center.

Stamp bees on card, emboss with black embossing powder and heat gun, color wings with Souffle 3-D pen.

Stamp, “Buzzzzz…………………” and emboss with green embossing powder.

Wrap this piece with ribbon, adhere down in back.

Attach cloth flowers and jewel flowers.

Cut orange card 6” high x 9” wide, score at 4.5” and fold in half. Attach finished yellow card layer to front of orange card. Tie floss around fold.
