Yesterday morning we saddled up on the Gold Wing and hit the road. Our ultimate destination was the Eastside Cannery Casino in Veags to have lunch with a friend of ours.
En route we stopped at Hoover Dam. We rode all the way up to the top where we got swarmed by a group of Chinese tourists who all had to have their picture taken with the huge motorcycle that doesn't exist in China. It was really rather funny but we couldn't get off the bike until they were all finished.
We signed up for the casino's Player's Club and were given $5.00 credit to play with. We sat down at the penny slots, at one point I was up to $20.00 then it dwindled down to $9.00 then I was up to $22.00 where I stopped and cashed out. I figure I should be able to pick up a couple of things I need from Jo Ann's for that amount.
After our bit of gambling we grabbed a quick dinner at the deli in the casino then headed for home. It was 6pm and it was still 98 degrees outside.
We had a lot of fun, got too much sun and way over heated a couple of times and it is going to take a day or so to re-coup. LOL I'm still tired and sore.
