I'm a snail mailer and the other day I received a short note from one of my pals telling me that she broke her wrist, had to leave her home for several days due to a wildfire in the area and that she ended up having to give away many of her beloved pets so I made her this card in hopes of cheering her up a bit. It is my first (well second as the actual 1st one didn't come out right) attempt at a, "Pop Up Panel Card".
All of my papers are from the, "Tea Time" stack by Craft Smith.
I will be entering this card into this challenge:
Jo's Scrap Shack # 161 - Anything Goes
All of my snail pal friends and are tea drinkers so this panel which is part of the, "Tea Party" stack from Craft Smith was perfect for the front of the card. The small envelope contains a tea bag of my favorite tea. A hot cup of tea shared with a good friend cures pretty much everything.
I used my favorite tea time sentiment on the inside: I cannot sit and chat with you, the way I'd like to do. So brew yourself a cup of tea. I'll think of you; you think of me.
Close up of the, "Pop Up Panel".
I didn't come up with the idea for this card all on my own and I do like to give credit where credit is due so here is the link to the youtube video I got the instructions from: Pop Up Panel Card video by The Craftyyogi .
