HIMCR #162 - Any Holiday! 2nd Posting

HIMCR #162 - Any Holiday!

The sponsor is Pickled Potpourri!

The giveaway is a $7 Gift Certificate to Pickled Potpourri!

I was able to complete 2 projects this week using the same images from Pickled Potpourri.
I have been wanting to make something on wood and came across this piece of wood in our neighborhood wash a while back. My other half drilled some holes in the wood for me and I went to work.

Recipe:

My piece of wood measures 13" wide x 4 1/4" tall, the bottom piece measures 7" wide x 4" tall.
The papers are all scraps from my stash, I covered both pieces of wood with black paper, I had to make a join in the top piecs. I used Mod Podge to hold the paper on. When that layer was totally dry I added the printed paper using Mod Podge.
My images were all printed out at 3" tall, I colored them using my Faber - Castell pencils and gamosil then fussy cut them.
Adhere to project using Mod Podge, when that layer is totally dry add 2 more layers of Mod Podge.
Then I adeded several items from my Halloween stash and the ribbons for hanging on wall.
