My son has been an avid reader since he was 6 years old, his faithful dog Yoshi was always by his side no matter where David was reading. David is now 30 and is still a reader but now he reads in Japanese. Here are a few shots of David and his faithful companion, please excuse the poor picture quality, they are old pictures.

As you can see, David is a huge Super Mario Bros. fan, his room was decorated per David’s instructions including a red wall and Mario wall art, that’s why all of the red and white.

“I Can Read” digi from A Day For Dasies

Cardstock, I used up a few of my scraps, all of the Cricut cuts were done with scraps.

Cricut Cartridges: Don Juan, Everyday Paper Dolls, Wrap It Up

Adhesives, foam tape

Print two copies of the, “I Can Read” digi, for the second one I added a blue background before I printed it. Color the digis to match each other, fussy cut the image printed without the added background color, attach this digi to the one with the added background using the foam tape.

 

Font is from Don Juan, the single books are from Everyday Paper Dolls and the stack of books is from Wrap It Up.
