Your Next Stamp

On one of my recent blog hops I came across a blog called Your Next Stamp and won a $20.00 gift certificate. I used one of the dies I got with the gift certificate to create this card.

There is a sketch to follow:

Recipe:

Cardstock, all of mine except for the card base was cut from scraps.

Your Next Stamp Pinwheel die.
Card measures 5" wide x 6 1/4" tall.
Striped layer measures 4 1/4" wide x 5 1/2" tall.
Light gray layer measures 2 1/2" wide x 5 1/8" tall.
Dark grey layer measures 2 3/8" wide x 4 7/8" tall.
Skunk stamp, Versa Mark Ink pad, black embossing powder, white Souffle pen.
Brads, flower punch, pearls, jewels, brads, foam pads, Action Wobble, green marker, sapphire Glimmer Mist, floss.

Ink edges of papers for card layers.
Spray top layer with sapphire Glimmer Mist, let dry. When dry, stamp skunk with Versa Mark ink and sprinkle with black embossing powder. Heat until powder melts. Use white Souffle pen to fill in skunk.

Punch 2 flowers with McGill's small daisy punch, mark flower stems and add leaves then adhere flowers (I used my Xyron 1 2/2" sticker maker), add jewel centers.

Punch pinwheels, 1 large and 2 small. Assemble and add brads to middle. Attach floss (twine) to back of pinwheels by wrapping around brads and glue down. When glue dries add foam pads and attach to top layer, tying bottoms of the floss together and glue to skunk's hand.

Cut small piece of green for grass (I used a zig zag patterened pair of scissors). Add foam pads and adhere in place.

Add Action Wobble to back of top layer and attach opposite side of the wobble to front of card.

I typed the sentiment on my computer, trimmed, cut a bottom layer assemble using the Xyron 1 1/2" sticker maker and adhere finished sentiment and layers to card front.
Add a few pearls to corner.

I'm entering card into the challange:
