HIMCR #149 - Embossing!
This can be any kind of Embossing! Wet or Dry! You can use powder, a folder, a bone folder and scorpal, or go old school with a stylus and stencil!
Or if you don't have any of these, how about some pre-embossed paper!
The sponsor is Laurie!
The giveaway is Embossing folders
I dusted off some items I've had for 2 years or more but never had a chance to play with before to make this card. The stamp/die set I purchased at the last Great Lakes Mega Meet I was able to attend in 2012 and I haven't used my wet embossing products since before then so I had to look up how to do it.
This card if for a mother figure in my granddaughter’s life, Nancy has been battling breast cancer for many years. The cancer has now attacked her brain and she is facing brain surgery.

Lovely card, thanks for joining us for this week's challenge at FCCB!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Beautiful flowers I'm sure will bring her joy during this difficult time.
ReplyDeleteHello Sue. Pleased to meet you. This is such a lovely card and your friend will appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the hummingbird advice! I am making my own nectar at home. I think the issue is how late I put out the feeder. Not only do other neighbors have feeders, the flowers are blooming and there is enough food around here for the hummers that they don't really have to look hard for it. We have year round hummingbirds so the time to get them to my house was in mid-March. I also bought a very pretty glass feeder and the red flowers are not very prominent but I have thought of tying a red bow to it and see if it makes a difference. I'll let you know if I have a change in luck. One of my best childhood memories was watching the hummingbirds feed at my grandma's feeder while we ate our meals and I'd thought it would be nice to do that for my kids too. Have a wonderful day!
Absolutely beautiful!! I love the shape and all the flowers. Thanks for joining us at Kitty Bee Designs for our Aloha Friday Challenge #23 - Scraps.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Zella
