David and Miki's Valentine

Last night I was feeling sad and blue after finishing this card because I miss my little stinker and his wife very much. I got a nice surprise in the mail just now, a box full of Japanese candies, CD’s of pictures David has taken, more Japanese crafting papers and a cute Valentine card, Miki takes good care of me. I couldn’t have picked a better wife for David, she is beautiful, sweet and smart.

David had a stuffed skunk when he was little and he carried, Mr. Skunk with him wherever he went, David and Mr. Skunk were the inspiration for this card.

Recipe:

Cricut Wild Card Cartridge – Heart card (I hid the contours for the heart within the heart) and Heart frame, cutting only the inner heart of the frame.
Cricut Create a Critter Cartridge – Skunk and Skunk layer 2.
Baby Steps Cartridge – Font and Font Shadow

Googly eyes, pom pom nose, Stickles mouth and pearls to, “dot” the, “i’s”
.
All of the hearts were cut from paper that David and Miki brought me from Japan when they came to visit last March.

All of the papers I used were scraps, most of them scraps from my previous project, made for David and Miki, the black glitter paper I used was left over from one of the projects I used for their US wedding.

I am entering this into these 2 challanges:
