Snow Day

This card was inspired by a stamp designed by my dear friend Renee Mullins, artist and owner of www.plumpurdy.com. I used Renee's, "Too Much Snow" stamp. We grew up in Michigan, Renee moved south a few years after high school and she misses the snow. I stayed in Michigan until July 2012 when we moved to NW Arizona and I do NOT miss the snow. We do get some chilly weather here but nothing like back in Michigan. Except for my totally DRY skin, I really prefer this climate.

Recipe:
Sentimentals letter 1 for card
CCR Basics for scalloped circle
Baby Steps for font
Winterwoodland for birds
Plum Purdy, "Too Much Snow" stamp
Colored pencils
Clear jewels
Stickles (top of hat)
Batting and chunky glitter for snow
Black enamel accents for eyes and buttons

      Thank you, Lena. I have several card cartridges but at times I catch myself getting, "stuck" so to speak and use the same card over and over.

      Thank you, Missy. I was really, "challenged" with this one, evidently I have forgotten what winter is really like. The climate here sure beats Michigan's.
