HIMCR # 128 - CASE yourself

I created the originals of these cuties for a recent craft show. They didn't sell so they became a Christmas gift for a friend.

First I cut a chipboard, "pattern" which my boyfriend used to cut them out of wood then I put a coat of paint on them and cut their respective layers, assembled and decorated them.

I used the Cricut cartridge, Paper Doll Dressup. I cut Santa and Mrs. Claus @ 11" and the elves at 7". I made a few changes to the girl elf as the cartridge only has a boy elf. I cut her dress using the dancer cut and her hair came from Paper Dolls For Everyday.

I added some cotton batting for Santa's fur, Cricut color for the mouths, googley eyes and pompoms on the elves's shoes. After giving them as a gift I decided that I needed a set of my own.

    1. Thank you, Lena. I had a hard time parting with them also, that is why I just had to make another set for myself.
