Dean Peak Fire

While sitting out on the back deck last night, we spotted a wildfire burning in the Hualapai Mountains.

It is the, "Dean Peak Fire" and is now at 125 acres burned. We've seen this go from, "twinkling lights" on the mountain to a good sized fire.

Our hot weather isn't helping, it has been well over 100 degrees for several days now. We have been on fire restrictions for about 3 weeks now, this fire was started by lightening. It has grown very fast.

We are on the west side of the Hualapais', the fire is on the east side.

I will have to post more pictures after I get them downloaded, the fire is a whole lot bigger than this now.
